Arrest Made In Safecracking, Theft Of Marilyn Monroe Playboy Magazine

FOUR OAKS – Sheriff’s investigators have arrested a suspect in the theft of a safe, containing several items, from a Four Oaks area home. On September 17, the victim reported someone had stolen a home security safe from a building on his Mulberry Road property.

The safe contained a black powder handgun, jewelry, coins, Marilyn Monroe Playboy magazine, and personal documents from a deceased relative.

On September 22nd, Jennifer Michele Dibiase, age 39, of Jackson Street, Selma was arrested and charged with felony larceny, safecracking, obtaining property by false pretense, and felony conspiracy. Dibiase was held on a $50,000 secured bond at the Johnston County Detention Center.
