A late night fire has been ruled as arson.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office and Johnston County Fire Marshal are investigating a blaze Monday night at a home on Eddlestone Court, off Gordon Road, between Clayton and Wilson’s Mills.
Authorities said a fire was intentionally set on the rear deck of the home. Damage was minimal.
Sheriff’s Captain Jeff Caldwell told WTSB News on Tuesday the case is under investigation and detectives are currently following up on leads.
No injuries were reported.
