Assault Rifles Stolen From Gun Shop

The Clayton Police Department needs your help to identify the suspect or suspects who broke into a Clayton gun shop and stole five weapons.

Just before 4:30 a.m. on November 23rd, officers responded to a reported break-in at Trigger Happy Guns at 227 East Main Street in Downtown Clayton. During the investigation, officers discovered that someone threw a brick or block through the window of the store.  A total of five AR-15 rifles were stolen. Two were manufactured by Palmetto State, two by Anderson and one by Rock River Arms.

Federal ATF agents are now assisting with the investigation.
