Smithfield Police are investigating an attempted business break-in. At 9:05am Friday, March 26th, a manager at GNC at 1285 N. Brightleaf Boulevard discovered someone had attempted to force their way into both the front and rear doors to the business.
Police said they located damage to both doors. A screwdriver was also found lodged between the locked front entry doors.
No arrests have been made.
