Attempted Church Break-In Reported
A burglar alarm likely scared away a would be intruder at a Johnston County church. Around 12:50pm Saturday, Feb. 29th, a burglar alarm activated at the Cleveland Community Church (C3 Church) at 8246 Cleveland Road, Clayton.
No entry was made, however a side entry door sustained approximately $200 in damage.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
