A 34 year-old woman was seriously injured while operating an all-terrain vehicle. The accident happened around 11:00pm Saturday in the 1000 block of Bluegrass Road in the Bethany community outside of Selma.
Authorities said the victim, Alison Hope Wilson of Clayton, was driving the ATV on private property during a birthday party celebration when it crashed. She sustained a severe arm injury. She was transported to the hospital by Johnston County EMS.
On Monday, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office ruled the incident as accidental. No charges will be filed.
