The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance identifying two men shown in these surveillance camera images.
On October 4th, 2019 a woman was shopping inside the Dollar General at 11712 Highway 42 East, Kenly in the Stancil’s Chapel community.
The victim walked away from her shopping cart for only a few seconds. During that time, the suspect wearing the red shirt grabbed her pocketbook from inside the shopping cart. The suspect then passed the stolen pocketbook to the second suspect who was wearing the ball cap. Both men then immediately left the store together.
