Buies Creek – Campbell’s Barker-Lane Stadium has again been ranked among the best in FCS College Football.
Stadium Journey rated the home of the Camels No. 16 of 125 FCS stadiums.
Barker-Lane Stadium, the home of the Camels’ football program since its re-launch in 2008, received a sizable facelift prior to the 2013 season, adding a new grandstand and two-level press box. The Burt Family Sports Performance Center was added to the stadium following the 2014 season.
Stadium Journey raved Campbell’s Barker-Lane Stadium as “FCS football at its finest” in the review. The 5,500 seat venue is the highest-ranked Pioneer Football League facility, topping Butler’s “Butler Bowl” at No. 28. Barker-Lane Stadium was also tabbed best among FCS stadiums in North Carolina.
Barker-Lane Stadium hosted a venue record 6,580 at CU’s 2015 Homecoming game against Morehead State.
