Bass Received Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate

Selma Police Detective Jeffrey Bass recently received his Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate.

Officer Bass began his law enforcement career in 2007 as a deputy sheriff for the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office.   In 2008 he began working in the patrol division for the Town of Selma Police Department.

In 2011, Bass was promoted to the detective division, and has since worked investigations in narcotics, general and major crimes.

Bass graduated with honors from Johnston Community College in the Fall Semester of 2016 with an Associate’s in Science Degree in Criminal Justice.

In November 2017, Detective Bass earned his Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate, which requires a combination of education, training and experience.
