Beer, Guns Stolen During Burglary

Beer, guns, tires and electronics were stolen during a home break-in reported Monday morning near Four Oaks.

A 31 year-old man left his residence Saturday night. When he returned around 4:10am today (Monday) he discovered his house on Mountain Laurel Lane had been broken into.

Johnston County deputies said the front door to the home had apparently been kicked open. A door to a truck in the driveway had been left open.

A total of $4,471 in property was stolen including 6 Michelob and 8 Bud Light beers, two shotguns, one handgun, 60 inch TV, sound bar, 24 inch wheels and 38 inch tires.

The case is under investigation.
