Benson Employees Commended For Going Above And Beyond

BENSON, N.C. — Two Town of Benson Public Works employees have been recognized for their dedication, teamwork and service to the community.
Dylan Rhodes and Doug Jackson recently received letters of appreciation for assisting with cleanup efforts at multiple locations throughout town.
The recognition was initiated by Code Enforcement Officer Marc Martinez, who praised both employees for their positive attitudes, professionalism and willingness to step in wherever needed to help complete several important cleanup projects.
Town officials said the recognition highlights the important role Public Works employees play in maintaining public spaces and supporting town operations.
Interim Town Manager Tanner O’Quin said Rhodes and Jackson exemplify the commitment displayed by Town employees.
“Dylan and Doug exemplify the teamwork, professionalism and servant leadership that help make our town successful,” O’Quin said. “Their willingness to step up and assist wherever needed demonstrates the commitment our employees have to serving Benson residents each day. We are grateful for their hard work and proud to recognize their contributions.”
