Madelyn-Grace Herring, the 7 year-old daughter of Ericka Keen and Corby Herring of Benson competed in a state pageant held in Raleigh on July 30th.
Madelyn-Grace won the photogenic award, talent award, and had the overall highest scoring talent dancing to a hip hop routine.
She is the 2016-2017 Southern Elegance Charm State Ultimate Grand Supreme, scoring the highest score in the entire pageant. She will be doing several community service projects throughout her reign including, Madelyn’s Hope, where she collects toys for Dukes Children’s Hospital, as well as the Harbor House.
