The 97th State Annual Singing Convention, scheduled to be held this weekend, June 23-25, will reveal a new feature to its annual gospel singing competition and performances.
The Convention Choir, directed by Singing Convention Board of Directors member Robin Stegall, is to perform during the Sundayafternoon, June 25th program after the competition is complete.
The group met for their third practice in preparation for this year’s State Sing on June 6, after a cookout and board of directors’ meeting held on June 6.
The board and Sing organizers have announced this year’s featured host group, Ernie Haase and Signature Sound, who are to perform on Saturday June 24th at 6:30 p.m.
