An 18 year-old Benson man said he was robbed of his money and cigarettes. The alleged incident happened Friday night around 7:30pm in a business parking lot on Highway 210 just west of Interstate 40.
The victim said he was in the parking lot when an acquaintance approached him. The victim said he was assaulted and the items were stolen. He was not injured.
Detectives with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office are investigating.
