A crew conducting boring work discovered a body in a Nash County creek Wednesday afternoon.
The body was discovered in Stoney Creek adjacent to US 64 Eastbound and Womble Road in Nashville.
Authorities said the body was that of a male. A name was not released pending notification of next of kin. The medical examiner was called to the scene to begin an investigation into the cause of death.
