Boy Scout Troop 95 of Smithfield spent a recent Saturday helping a local homeless shelter.
The scouts and their leaders spend the day on February 25th installing vinyl siding at the office building of the Smithfield Rescue Mission on Glenn Street in Smithfield.
Zach Maloney, a spokesperson for the Smithfield Rescue Mission, said the project helped the mission save resources they can direct into serving those in need including those who need emergency shelter beds during the recent cold weather. Contributed photo
