Boyce Named Smithfield Police Officer Of The Year

SMITHFIELD – Patrol Officer Jonathan Boyce has been named the 2022 Smithfield Police Officer of the Year. Officer Boyce received the award following a vote by fellow officers and civil personnel at the department. He was presented a plaque during the May 2 town council meeting.

Interim Police Chief James Grady said Officer Boyce does a great job for the department and shows a lot of enthusiasm.

Boyce has been with the department for two years. He is assigned to the Patrol Division.
