Boys Golf State Champion
The Johnston County Board of Education recently recognized Clayton High student Brady Hooks for winning the Boys Golf 3A State Championship.
Hooks shot an even par 144 to win by 3 strokes in the two-day tournament at Foxfire Resort near Pinehurst.
He is Clayton High’s first individual golf state champion.
