Break-In At Johnston County Church Under Investigation
JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities are investigating a break-in at a local church where thieves stole power equipment.
The incident occurred around 1:47 a.m. on March 11 at Community Baptist Church, located at 617 Cornwallis Road, Garner, a Johnston County address. According to investigators, unknown suspects entered a storage building on the property and removed several items, including weedeaters, a trimmer, leaf blowers, and a chainsaw.
The total value of the stolen equipment is estimated at $1,820.
Security cameras captured an older-model silver sedan entering the property at approximately 1:47 a.m. and leaving around 4:00 a.m.
