CLEVELAND – A Johnston County business was broken into last week. The break-in was discovered Wednesday morning, Nov. 22nd at Cleveland Springs Auto Sales at 5479 Cornwallis Road, Garner in the Cleveland community.
An unknown suspect forced open a side entry door and rummaged through a desk. A personal safe belonging to an employee was stolen. The safe contained $4,000 in jewelry, according to a report filed with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.
Damage to the door was estimated at $150. At last report, no arrest had been made.
You can’t have nothing without someone trying to steal. This is why we need the Ten Commandments on the courthouse lawn. Thou shall not steal. We need to teach our children this. We live in such a Godless society. It is a shame.
Wondering why an employee would have 4k in jewelry in a personal safe at their job….
Real good question Mel?
