Break-Ins Reported At Two Benson Area Businesses

BENSON – An undisclosed amount of money was stolen during a break-in discovered Friday morning at the Taco Bell / KFC located at 12340 Highway 210, Benson near the I-40 interchange.

An employee arrived at work and discovered the front glass door had been shattered and entry was made.  An undisclosed amount of money was reported stolen by the business.  Damage was estimated at $500.

In another incident, a break-in was reported Monday at McLamb’s Auto Repair at 590 Drag Strip Road.  The owner reported that someone had forced open a rear door over-the-weekend and stole a diagnostic system valued at $6,000.

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating both break-ins.
