On Saturday, February 8th, an Eagle Scout Ceremony was held for Eagle Scout Bryson Lynn Adams from Boy Scout Troop 19 of Benson. The Ceremony took place at Broken Wing Fellowship Church of Raleigh.
For his Eagle Scout project, Bryson installed new and updated playground equipment for the youth of Broken Wing Fellowship Church to impact the development of children and demonstrate that physically active students have improved academic performance.
During his Eagle Scout Court of Honor, Bryon was presented with the Eagle Scout Good Citizenship Award from Eagle Scout Coordinator Lewis W. Rice III on behalf of the Johnston County Marine Corps League Carry-On Detachment #1236.
Bryson is a junior at South Johnston High School. Upon graduation, he plans to pursue a career in auto mechanics. He is the son of Tracy and Kathryn Adams of Benson.
