Bullet Hole Found In Garage Door

CLAYTON – Johnston County deputies are investigating after a bullet hole was found in a Clayton-area home. 

On March 20th, a resident on Cooper Branch Road, off Little Creek Church Road, said he went into his attached garage and found a bullet hole in the garage door. 

Deputies responded and found a .223 projectile nearby. 

Damage to the door was estimated at $1,000. No injuries were reported.

At last report, authorities were still searching for the suspect.
