A burglary suspect caused a reported $10,000 in damage to a Smithfield home during a break-in discovered on Saturday.
Smithfield Police responded to a vacant rental home on E. Langdon Avenue and discovered where someone had forced their way into the residence stealing about $100 worth of copper electrical wiring and metallic plumbing pipes.
The thief also caused approximately $10,000 in damage to the interior walls while stealing the wiring and pipes.
