A Johnston County public school was vandalized during a break-in. The incident was discovered around 6:00am Monday at West View Elementary School on Cleveland Road.
Sometime between Friday night and Monday morning, the suspect forced his way into a door at the main school building and discharged a fire extinguisher inside the room. The suspect also painted graffiti on the walls of the room. Several cell phone chargers were damaged and 6 keys to school buses were also stolen.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office. No arrests have been made.
