BUIES CREEK – Campbell, along with CAA Football, has announced all home and conference game times for the 2024 season.
For the first time since 2019, Campbell will host six home games at Barker-Lane Stadium, including four CAA matchups, featuring new, family friendly kickoff times, allowing fans to better enjoy the game day experience, including Pepsi Tailgate Town and CU traditions new and old.
The Fighting Camels’ home slate begins with a CAA contest against first-time opponent Stony Brook on September 21, featuring a 5:00 p.m. kickoff. The game will be the first of three-straight in Buies Creek, stepping back out of conference against Delaware State at 2:00 p.m. on September 28, and then North Carolina Central at 4:00 p.m. on October 5.
Campbell’s 2024 homecoming will feature another in-state matchup, with North Carolina A&T coming to Barker-Lane Stadium for the first time in a 4:00 p.m. CAA tilt.
CU returns home on November 9 for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff against Richmond, and will close out the regular season at home for the first time since 2018, hosting Towson on November 23 at 2:00 p.m.
In the Camels’ four CAA road trips, Campbell will take on Rhode Island at 6:00 p.m. on September 14, William & Mary at 3:30 p.m. on October 19, Elon at 2:00 p.m. on November 2, and Delaware at 1:00 p.m. on November 16.
Additionally, Campbell will open the 2024 season at FBS-member Liberty (August 31), followed by a trip to Western Carolina (September 7). Kickoff times for Liberty and WCU have not yet been released.
Four CAA Football squads were ranked in the final 2023 FCS Top 25 polls, including a pair of Campbell’s 2024 opponents in Delaware (No. 10 Stats Perform / No. 11 AFCA) and Richmond (15 / 22). Rhode Island and William & Mary were among others receiving votes in the final AFCA poll.
Campbell finished its inaugural CAA campaign at 5-6 overall and 4-4 in league games. With the season finale win at NC A&T, Campbell became the first new CAA member to win four or more games in its first season since Old Dominion in 2011.
