Detectives hope someone will recognize this individual or the gold car he was driving when he committed a business break-in in western Johnston County.
Around 11:20pm on Wednesday, January 30th, the suspect in the surveillance image broke into Don Lee’s Grocery at 13718 Highway 50 North at Sanders Road in the Willow Spring community.
The suspect used a rock to gain entry. Once inside, the suspect took the cash register and some cigarettes before fleeing in a gold 1994-2001 Chevy Lumina. The Lumina had aftermarket fog lights on the bottom front bumper.
The suspect is a black male, about 6 feet tall, wearing glasses, a hooded jacket, jeans, tennis shoes and blue gloves. He parked beside the store at a used car lot.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect or gold Lumina with aftermarket fog lights is asked to contact the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office at 919-989-5000.
