One person was injured after the car they were driving ran off the roadway and landed in a creek. The accident happened Saturday night on Highway 39 North of Selma near the intersection of Branch Chapel Church Road.
The driver was transported by EMS to the hospital for minor injuries. The NC Highway Patrol is investigating the accident. Charges are pending.
