A car collided with a mobile home Wednesday near Four Oaks. The collision was reported around 9:30am in the 1500 block of Hockaday Road.
The driver of a BMW reportedly ran off the roadway, struck a ditch, narrowly missed a culvert then slid under a mobile home. The driver was transported to the hospital for treatment. A cat inside the car was not injured.
The NC Highway Patrol is investigating whether a medical condition may have played a factor. The Four Oaks Fire Department and Four Oaks EMS responded to the scene. Photos by John Payne.
