A motorist escaped serious injury after his car ran off Highway 42 near the entrance to Johnston Health in Clayton and collided with a stone driveway entrance.
The single vehicle accident was reported around 2:30am Saturday. The car was heavily damaged but the driver appeared to be unhurt.
