Funeral arrangements have been announced for musician Jimmy Capps who passed away Monday at the age of 81. Capps was from Benson, NC. He returned to his hometown last year for a sold out tribute concert.
Capps played on hundreds of country music songs and had been a part of the Grand Ole Opry for more than 50 years.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 8th from 4pm until 8pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville, Tennessee. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, June 9th at 1pm at the Grand Old Opry in Nashville.
