CLAYTON – Detectives with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office are investigating several weekend car break-ins.
The break-ins are believed to have occurred Friday night or Saturday morning at homes along Barber Mill Road, Pay Day Lane, Red Star Lane, and Woodside Drive near Clayton.
At last report six victims had reported break-ins. Cash was stolen from three of the vehicles. Other items taken include debit cards, identification, and a taser device.
