Clayton Church Expands Outreach With Inaugural Spanish Service

CLAYTON, NC — Sunday morning marked a new chapter for Fellowship Baptist Church as approximately 120 people gathered for the inaugural service of its new Spanish-language ministry.
Pastor Alex Ramirez, newly appointed to lead the congregation, welcomed visitors who traveled from communities across Johnston and Wake counties to be part of the historic first service. The strong attendance underscored the growing desire among the Spanish-speaking population for a Bible-believing church home in the area.

The new ministry is meeting at 911 West Main Street in Clayton, occupying a space rich in church history. The building previously served as a fellowship hall and was once Fellowship Baptist Church’s main auditorium.
Renovations are currently underway to prepare the facility to better serve the needs of the growing congregation, with completion expected in the coming weeks.

Weekly Spanish-language services will be held Sundays at 10:30 a.m.
Fellowship Baptist Church will continue its regular worship services at 204 Atkinson Street in Clayton while expanding its outreach through the new ministry.

Church leaders expressed excitement and gratitude for the opening service and look forward to continuing to serve the Spanish-speaking community in the weeks ahead.
