Two vehicles collided this afternoon (Thursday) on Guy Road just outside of Clayton.
A blue Nissan reportedly crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic and the driver of a red Jeep swerved to avoid the collision, according to the preliminary investigation by the State Highway Patrol.
Both drivers and the passenger in the Jeep were transported to Wake Med by Johnston County EMS.
Clayton Police assisted the Highway Patrol. Guy Road was shut down in both directions for about an hour.
