Clayton Harvest Festival Rescheduled Due To Hurricane Florence

Due to the threat of Hurricane Florence, the amount of rain in the forecast, the desire to keep all vendors, participants, staff, town officials, and volunteers safe, the 2018 Clayton Chamber of Commerce’s Clayton Harvest Festival has been rescheduled to October 31st – November 4th, 2018 from its original dates this week September 12th – 16th.

The new date coincides with another popular Clayton event, The Shindig, a music festival to be held on Saturday, November 3rd. Both festivals are excited about the unique opportunity and look forward to joining forces this year.

“We appreciate the organizers of The Shindig for helping us find a way to keep the Clayton Harvest Festival on the calendar this year. We feel The Shindig’s amazing music lineup in Town Square will be great addition to our festival. Our collaborative efforts will surely produce a jam-packed Saturday of fun in Clayton,” said Clayton Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Dana Wooten.

The new five-day Clayton Harvest Festival schedule will be posted at www.claytonharvestfestival.com by October 1, 2018.

The ribbon cutting to open the Clayton Harvest Festival has been rescheduled to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Horne Square in Downtown Clayton.
