Students at Clayton High School had an unexpected day off from school today (Thursday).
A transformer issue affected the electricity at Clayton High School this morning that resulted in a fan motor burning up.
Johnston County School maintenance staff is working with the Town of Clayton to have the electrical issues resolved and the school reopened Friday.
