The Clayton Chamber of Commerce has recognized Donna Digby as the Super Star Teacher for the month for February.
Super Star teachers demonstrate excellence and leadership in their classroom, creativity and motivation of their students and show a high level of commitment to our community.
Ms. Digby is described as a remarkable teacher and a tremendous leader at Clayton High School. Not only is she the English Department Chairperson, but she also coordinates and leads the Professional Learning Community conversations and also serves as the Student Government Association advisor. Ms Digby coordinates all of the Clayton High Homecoming activities including the long tradition of the Homecoming parade down Main Street. She teaches Honors English 2 and AP Language and Composition.
Ms Digby has emerged as a district pioneer in the area of virtual instruction. She has lead a pilot program featuring an online live classroom. Ms Digby is a true leader and valued asset at Clayton High.
