Tyler Ellis, a senior at Clayton High, was recognized at the January meeting of the Johnston County Board of Education for being selected for All-Nationals Choir.
This is a year-long effort that requires eligibility to the all-county choir, concert participation, and then an audition video for all-state.
Students are also required to audition for Nationals, and write a short essay about their desire for earning a spot.
