CLAYTON – The Clayton Historical Association, Inc. recently named an interim board of directors to lead the organization through a reorganization process through the end of the year.
“With the increase in Clayton’s population our new residents are very interested in the history of the town” said J. David Millican, CHA President. “With some vacancies occurring on our board since the pandemic, we felt this was a good time to take stock of the good work we’ve done in the past and retool the operation and programming moving forward.”
During the CHA’s June meeting members voted to appoint an interim Board of Directors and officers to serve until the election during the Annual Membership Meeting in January
The interim board will engage in strategic planning to include operations, education programming, renewed membership and volunteer recruitment as well as public outreach.

- Immediate Past President, Porter Casey, Jr.
