GOLDSBORO – A 32 year-old Clayton man was shot and killed at a home near Goldsboro. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched around 12:55pm Sunday to the 200 block of Haywood Drive.
When officers arrived they found the victim lying in the front yard suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.
On Monday, investigators identified the victim as Exzavia Cortez Ramseur of Clayton. Detectives said the incident appears to be isolated. No further details were released including information on a possible suspect or motive.
