During the visit on Tuesday, students learned the different canine breeds as well as the uses associated with each breed.

Officer Vause discussed with the class the training required to have a K-9 unit as well as the various types of police calls the K-9 unit can help with. Students were also able to witness an item search performed by the dog as a demonstration.
