Clayton Resident Appointed To NC State Licensing Board

Governor Roy Cooper has appointed Elizabeth R. Phipps to the North Carolina State Licensing Board for General Contractors as a structural engineer.

Phipps, of Clayton, is the vice president and structures practice leader for KCI. Her background includes work in bridge design and inspection, roadway design, water resources engineering and design, and traffic engineering. She is also a part of KCI’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee.
