Cleveland Road Property Rezoned For Produce, Christmas Tree Lot

In a unanimous vote, Johnston County Commissioners approved a rezoning request for a lot at 9638 Cleveland Road in the Cleveland Township.

Gene Lee with L&G Farms of Meadowbrook Road, Benson petitioned the County to rezone 1.49 acres out of a 3.61 acre tract from Agricultural Residential to Community Business. Mr. Lee said he plans to sell produce, pumpkins, Christmas trees and related products at the site.

No one spoke in opposition of the request. The Planning Board had previously voted to recommend approval of the rezoning.
