Clifton Promoted To Rank Of Fire Captain

A new fire department badge is pinned on Jamison Clifton’s uniform by his girlfriend, Taylor Wilson, following his promotion to the rank of Selma Fire Captain, October 10, during the Selma Town Council meeting.   

SELMA – Jamison Clifton has been promoted to the Rank of Fire Captain with the Town of Selma Fire Department.

Captain Clifton started his career in the Fire Service as a Volunteer with the Micro Fire Department where he still serves. He started with the Selma Fire Department in 2019 and has served with exemplary service, said Fire Chief Phillip McDaniel.

Clifton has held the rank of Firefighter and Engineer.

“Captain Clifton is a no nonsense, nose to the grindstone Firefighter. We are proud of Clifton’s service and look forward to a long career of leadership in Selma,” Chief McDaniel said.
