PINE LEVEL – The Commissioner Tony Braswell Bridge has been officially named to honor a dedicated public servant and community leader. Located on U.S. 70 Business East at the Peedin Street Extension in Pine Level, the bridge recognizes Commissioner Braswell’s many contributions to Johnston County.
A Vietnam War veteran and advocate for military families, Tony Braswell served as Pine Level Mayor and Johnston County Commissioner for nearly two decades. He was deeply involved in numerous boards, community organizations, and youth programs, always working to give back to his community.
This bridge is a meaningful tribute to his lasting impact on Johnston County.
