The Clayton Chamber of Commerce has recognized Danielle Harris as their SUPER STAR Teacher for the month for January.
SUPER STAR teachers demonstrate excellence and leadership in their classroom, creativity and motivation of their students and show a high level of commitment to our community.
Harris is a master teacher and has an in depth understanding of the curriculum and the ability to connect with every student. Her enthusiasm and positivity shine through in all she does daily in her classroom.
Ms. Harris is the lead teacher for the Exceptional Children’s professional learning community and mentors other teachers. She always makes learning fun by utilizing instructional technology, 21st century skills and hands on instruction.
Danielle is a leader at the Clayton Parks and Recreation department by volunteering with football, basketball, soccer, and baseball. She has a deep commitment to Clayton and the families at Cooper Academy.
