Corinth Holders Lacrosse Team To Make History On Friday

The Corinth Holders High School Lacrosse team is the first team of its kind in Johnston County history.

The game of Lacrosse is considered the fastest game on two feet.

In its very first game, Corinth Holders defeated Oxford JF Webb 14-1.  In their second game the Pirates beat Garner 17 -8.

The community is invited to come out to Corinth Holders High this Friday, March 16th at 6:00pm for the first ever Johnston County Public Schools high school lacrosse game to be played in Johnston County.

The team is coached by Head Coach Peter Clark, Assistant Coach Jeff Cartledge, Assistant Coach Brett Shurtleff and Assistant Coach Joel Tew.

“The team is getting better every day and focusing on the fundamentals and discipline of the sport,” said Coach Clark.
