SMITHFIELD – The Johnston County Board of Commissioners has scheduled a special meeting for the purposes of receiving an update and discussing matters related to the COVID-19 Coronavirus.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room at the Johnston County Courthouse located at 207 E. Johnston Street, Smithfield, North Carolina.
The Board may choose to take action on items related to the COVID-19 Coronavirus as requested by staff. The Board will also consider the adoption of a Remote Participation Policy for future board meetings to include boards and committees appointed by the County Commissioners.
