ARCHER LODGE – A small car caused a large mess in Archer Lodge late Friday morning. The driver was uninjured after losing control and sliding into a power pole in the 14000 block of Buffalo Road.
Power crews had to respond from the Triad area in order to replace the pole.
The power remains on in the area, however, the high voltage energized lines are hanging low over the roadway with one lower voltage line actually on the road.
All Buffalo Road traffic in Archer Lodge is expected to be re-rerouted until late Friday afternoon.
