CLAYTON – A woman lost control of her Dodge Challenger on Castleberry Road, early Thursday morning, narrowly missing a deep creek and large tree as the vehicle traveled off the roadway.
It appeared the driver lost control just after a curve in the road near the intersection of NC 42 East.
Several people stopped to offer assistance and reported finding the driver unconscious. She was conscious when first responders arrived and transported to Wake Med with non-life threatening injuries.
Members of the Northside Fire Department responded with Johnston County EMS. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol investigated.
